Each massage session is curated for you. Before each appointment we will communicate on how you’ve been feeling and what we need to focus on for that day. I like to integrate each massage session with all of the knowledge I have acquired. 

You can expect a blend of therapeutic, Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, neuromuscular, breathwork, stretching, compression, and Reiki energy balancing techniques.

Depending on what will best serve you this can be a relaxation massage for stress and anxiety reduction, or more focused work for chronic pain management.

I utilize essential oils during each massage session, unless desired otherwise.

Contraindications for Massage:

Contagious or infectious diseases including common cold and rashes, acute conditions requiring first aid or medical attention, severe unstable hypertension, acute flare-ups of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, recent surgery, recent burns including sunburn, deep vein thrombosis, aneurysm, any organ failure, if you have blood clots, if you are intoxicated. If you have been diagnosed with cancer and/or are undergoing treatment it is recommended that you see a therapist certified in medical massage.

Energy work is an exchange of vibrational energy. 

Everything in the universe is comprised of energy and matter. That energy is always moving through us and around us, an invisible force like air. 

When we don’t show up for our mind, body and spirit we become unbalanced and out of sync, which starts to show up in all aspects of our lives. Many of us are in a constant state of fight or flight. We hold tension and stress throughout our bodies, sometimes for years, and that can throw off our nervous system. When we allow our nervous system to feel safe, and slow down, we can stop living in a state of fight or flight and allow our body's vibration to return to a balanced state of being.

I use Reiki techniques, breath work and massage to bring attention to imbalanced energy or tightness in the body to help your sympathetic nervous system balance out.
